Privacy Policy

In effect since July 19, 2026. Last updated: July 19, 2026.

Quick summary

On your Mac, Transcritor is 100% local. Dictation and meeting transcription happen inside your computer — the audio is never sent to the internet.

On mobile and in the browser (Transcritor Notes), transcription runs in the cloud. To turn audio into text through the web app, the audio is securely sent to our cloud provider and processed there — it is never used to train artificial intelligence, nor shared with third parties for advertising.

4. Where your data is processed

To operate the service, we rely on vendors that process data on our behalf (processors), only in accordance with our instructions:

Some of these providers may process data on servers outside Brazil. In such cases, the transfer is carried out with appropriate safeguards, in accordance with the LGPD (Brazilian data protection law).

6. Your rights

At any time, you may request:

To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected]. We will respond as quickly as possible. You can also delete your transcripts directly in your account and cancel renewal whenever you like.

7. Security

We adopt technical and organizational measures to protect your data, such as encryption in transit (HTTPS), passwords stored in encrypted form (never in plain text), access control for the administrative panel, and backups. No system is 100% infallible, but we work to reduce risks and respond quickly to any incident.

We do not use third-party tracking cookies. We use the browser's local storage only for the operation of the service — for example, to keep you signed in to your account and remember preferences such as the light/dark theme.
